APMA 2040: The Journey of Tomorrow's Podiatrist

APMA 2040

APMA 2040 tracks the progress of eight podiatric medical students as they navigate their way through school. Times have changed, and many podiatrists who have been in practice for 20 or 30 years may not fully understand the modern struggles of tomorrow’s podiatric leaders. What drives them? What obstacles do they face, and how will they overcome them? What do they worry about? How are they handling the transition from classroom to clerkship? What do they do to unwind? What is happening today that will mold the average APMA member 25 years from now?

The individuals chosen for this project represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, but the journey that each took up to this point now places them on the same road toward becoming tomorrow’s podiatrist. Please meet the future of podiatry, the students of APMA 2040.
