Forty-seven percent of Americans suffer from a foot ailment, but only 26 percent have actually seen a podiatrist. Are you among the many who have ignored their feet for too long? Current Expert: Dr. Johanna Youner



Dr. Johanna Youner is a podiatric physician in private practice on New York City's Park Avenue. A graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine, she is also an attending physician at the New York Downtown Hospital. The techniques of foot care and foot health that Dr. Youner employs are cutting edge, using innovative yet safe techniques for foot problems. She specializes in women's foot issues, in addition to common and diabetic foot ailments. Dr. Youner also treats chemotherapy induced and HIV related foot complications. Dr. Youner has offered her expert podiatric advice in several national newspapers and magazines, including Reader's Digest, the New York Times, US News and World Report, Consumer Reports, In Style, Good Housekeeping, More magazine, Allure, Glamour, and Harpers Bazaar, and she has also appeared on WABC  with Dr. Jay Adlersberg, FOX News and New York City's CBS affiliate.
