The National - Sponsorship
The APMA Annual Scientific Meeting, also known as "The National," is the premier educational program for podiatrists across the country. It offers an unsurpassed educational program that features a renowned faculty, an impressive exhibit hall that spotlights the latest products and services, and special social events. Sponsors receive a multitude of recognition benefits before, during, and after the meeting.
The National sponsorship opportunities fulfill a variety of marketing objectives: launching a new product, building your brand, differentiating your company, driving booth traffic, and more.
SPONSORSHIPS
Sponsorship opportunities are available for non-CME programs and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additional costs may be included if program requirements exceed estimates included below (i.e., additional speakers, food and beverage, materials and audiovisual, additional set-up, etc.).
On behalf of The National, we are pleased to offer you the following sponsorship opportunities for 2012. Your support of approved opportunities will increase your company’s brand awareness while showing your support for podiatric medicine through APMA.
Opening Session Speaker: $25,000-$50,000 SOLD OUT!
Sponsorship for this event provides significant exposure and visibility to the sponsor. The opening session event is highly publicized to all members once a speaker is selected and sponsorship confirmed, which can begin as early as January and last for several months leading up to the event, during the event, and in post-meeting materials. Visibility includes name and logo in all pre- and post-meeting promotion materials, program materials and mailings that include promotion of the opening session, logo signage behind the speaker on the stage backdrop, and post-session autograph signing in the sponsor booth (if agreed upon by speaker).
Product Theater Sponsorship: $25,000-$48,000
APMA product theater sponsorship was introduced at the 2009 APMA Annual Scientific Meeting in Toronto. The product theaters are very well received and will continue to be offered depending on space availability. The product theaters are large enough to accommodate a lecture program with up to 50 podiatric physician and surgeon attendees with theater-style seating, wireless headsets, and audiovisual screens. Sponsorship is $25,000 plus any set-up fees, food/beverage service, audiovisual, speaker fees, and signage, etc. All additional costs are billed directly to the sponsor.
APMA’s 100th Anniversary Gala Sponsorship: $5,000-$25,000
APMA is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2012. In celebration of this huge milestone for podiatric medicine, APMA is coordinating a celebration gala to be held in conjunction with The National in Washington, DC. Plans are currently underway and significant visibility will be offered beginning in January, leading up to the event, during the event and following the event.
Cyber Stations: $20,000
Four free-standing kiosks with two computer stations on each kiosk will be placed around the meeting space and exhibit hall. Visibility includes: branded walls of kiosks with graphics and company logo/product information, logo screen saver on monitors, and a separate pocket to accommodate brochures or required product information.
Poster Abstract Session Sponsorship: $12,500
A poster session is being held on Friday evening August 17, from 5-6 p.m. to give the attendees the opportunity to meet the authors of the many posters presented at The National. The sponsoring company will receive a banner placed above the location of the poster area in the exhibit hall, or if posters are displayed outside the lecture hall, area signage will be in that location. The hard copy and electronic poster area is located next to the food and scanning areas on each exhibit hall day. A screen saver will be designed with sponsorship recognition on the monitors running various posters submitted electronically, and during the poster session reception on Friday evening, signage will be placed at the entrance to the reception and company logo placed on napkins and cups. All attendees are invited to the event to network and have fun while enjoying cocktails and appetizers.
Exhibit Hall Advertisement*: $10,000-$20,000 (each option below)
Meter Board Ads
A series of 8 vertical signs will display your marketing message while leading attendees to the conference sessions. Placed in highly trafficked areas in the convention center, the signs will be viewed by all attendees as they walk to and from the educational sessions. This opportunity includes labor to install and dismantle, as well as printing and materials. All artwork must be provided to GES based on specs provided once sponsorship is confirmed.
Table Top Sticker Ads
An ad or logo from the sponsoring company will cover the tables provided in the exhibit hall for attendees meeting with exhibitors, lunch and snack breaks, or just to take a break and relax. The graphics will be seen by attendees every time they walk to and from the scanning area, food service area, snack area, poster abstract area and around exhibit booths. This opportunity includes labor to install and dismantle, as well as printing and materials. All artwork must be provided by deadline to GES based on specs provided once sponsorship is confirmed.

Exhibit Hall Grand Opening: $10,000
Start the meeting off right at a reception in the exhibit hall where attendees can meet new colleagues and greet old friends in a relaxed social setting. This well-attended event will make networking with key customers and prospects easy. Your company name and logo will be prominently displayed on-site and on any pre- and post-meeting promotional materials.
