Our physicians provide comprehensive medical and surgical solutions for foot and ankle conditions in clinics across Central Florida and South Florida. Responsibilities In addition to the normal duties of a licensed podiatrist in the state of Florida, associates are required to: • Utilize advanced in-office imaging technologies and custom EHR. • Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical work. • Perform forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgical procedures. • Learn appropriate billing and coding procedures. • Participate in monthly billing and clinical discussions. • Periodically attend hands-on workshops. Please note, associates are never required to do the following: • In-office work on weekends. • Make house calls or work in nursing homes. • Take overnight emergency call. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university • Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree • Completion of a three-year podiatric residency by start date • Board-qualified or board-certified in American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) • Willingness to be trained on appropriate billing and coding procedures • Enthusiasm for learning new surgical techniques, clinical therapies, and technologies • Being a self-starter who can work independently and is confident in problem-solving
