The American Podiatric Medical Association Political Action Committee (APMAPAC) is a nonprofit, bipartisan fundraising committee through which member podiatrists support federal candidates who champion podiatric medicine’s issues before the US Congress. All contributions are voluntary. You may contribute, or not contribute, without concern of being favored or disadvantaged. Occupation and Employer information is required by the Federal Election Campaign Act for aggregate annual contributions of more than $200.00. Federal election law does not permit corporate contributions to be used for donation to candidates for federal office. Political contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes. The APMA Protecting Our Profession, or simply APMA POP, is a separate segregated source of financial resources used for federal legislative education, initiatives, and issue awareness. This includes funding approximately 50 percent of the annual Podiatric Medical Legislative Conference, and public awareness initiatives. These funds cannot be used directly to support candidates for federal office.
