WASHINGTON—The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) today announced it has been selected for the second year in a row as one of the Washington Post’s Top Workplaces. The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on results of an anonymous feedback survey completed by employees. APMA was one of the first 150 organizations awarded the distinction on the 2014 inaugural list, and was selected as number 40 from the more than 300 companies evaluated in the Washington, DC, area for the 2015 list.

“We’re doubly honored to be recognized as a Top Workplace for a second year,” said Glenn B. Gastwirth, DPM, executive director and CEO of APMA. “When a team wins the Super Bowl, everybody on the staff has contributed and everybody gets a Super Bowl ring. We think the same way—all of us play a role in APMA’s success, and though everybody’s contributions are different, we do things to make it clear we value them all.”

APMA leadership encourages employees to strike a positive balance between their home and professional lives.
