Scope-of-Practice Legislation to Allow Ankle Privileges Moves Forward in South Carolina Members Only Content

The South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association (SCPMA) scored a major victory on April 4 when its legislation to expand the scope of practice within the state to include the ankle (H 3622) received a second reading in the state House of Representatives. During the second reading, it was voted forward by a vote of 71–42.
