Diabetes Foot Health Access and Modernization Act
The bicameral, bipartisan Diabetes Foot Health Access and Modernization Act would modernize outdated Medicare documentation requirements that cause significant delays in care for therapeutic shoes, align the Medicare therapeutic shoes benefit with existing fraud and abuse guardrails used for other physician services, and establish Medicaid coverage parity for podiatrists.
