Live Event: Spring 2022 Virtual Coding Seminar

The Spring 2022 Virtual Coding Seminar, presented by APMA, was held on Saturday, April 23, providing attendees with a deep dive into foot- and ankle-specific coding issues. Jeffrey D. Lehrman, DPM, CPC, and Edward N. Prikaszczikow, DPM, instructed participants on a variety of topics to enhance processes and better serve patients.

Essentials Bundle

APMA is offering its members an on-demand "Essentials Bundle," a collection of six, 1.0 CECH courses on a variety of non-clinical topics frequently required for state licensure. Check with your state licensing board to confirm approval of these courses toward your license renewal. Topics covered include elder abuse, human trafficking, ethics, opioids, infection control, and sexual harassment.

The cost for the bundle is $122.50 for members and $247.50 for non-members. Please note, at this time, these courses are only available as a bundle. Individual courses will be available for purchase in Q1 2022 at the price of $24.50 each for members/$49.50 each for non-members per course. By purchasing the bundle, you are receiving all six courses for the price of five.

Screening for Diabetes and Pre-diabetes: When, Who, and How, and Then What?

Spring 2021 Virtual Coding Seminar

The Spring 2021 Virtual Coding Seminar, presented by APMA, was a half-day online seminar held on Saturday, April 12, providing attendees with a deep dive into foot- and ankle-specific coding issues. Jeffrey D. Lehrman, DPM, CPC, and Sarah Abshier, DPM, instructed participants on a variety of topics to enhance processes and better serve patients.

The seminar has been broken into two on-demand courses available for purchase. Each course provides 2.0 CECH. The cost is $49.50 for APMA members and $99.50 for non-members per course.

The 2021 Fall Virtual Coding Seminar, Presented by APMA

This live program was held on December 4, 2021. An on-demand version will be available soon. The 2021 APMA Fall Virtual Coding Seminar, presented by APMA, was a half-day online seminar providing attendees with a deep dive into foot- and ankle-specific coding issues.

Podiatrists, assistants, and certified professional coders can earn up to 4.0 credits for completing this course.


Understanding the Socioeconomic Impact of Care on Patients

This live program was held on January 22, 2022. An on-demand version will be available soon. During this one-hour presentation, Alton Johnson, DPM, describes the various factors and variables that impact the care of patients during the current economic conditions and identifies solutions that can enhance patient experiences and care regardless of outside socioeconomic influences. This course also includes a mental health component.

This program is FREE, offered exclusively to APMA members, and provides 1.0 CECH.


Improving PAD Patient Outcomes with Podiatry and Interventional Radiology

This live program was held on March 24, 2022. An on-demand version will be available soon. During this one-hour presentation, attendees learned how the multidisciplinary approach, and working with our interventional radiology colleagues, can lead to improved patient outcomes.

Course Archives (Not Available for CECH)

Summer Series - August 2020

The APMA Online CECH Summer Series provided attendees with up to 25 CECH of virtual learning and covered a broad array of podiatric surgery and medicine. Taking place over two weekends, August 8–9 (13 CECH) and 15–16 (12 CECH), the Summer Series allowed podiatrists to earn much-needed CECH without taking time away from patients and practice.

Online CECH Spring 2020
