APMA submitted comments to the CMS Office of Burden Reduction and Health Informatics on July 29 expressing appreciation for CMS’ initiatives to reduce regulatory burden, but requesting further burden relief. APMA offered recommendations to reduce documentation burden under the Therapeutic Shoe Program for Persons with Diabetes (TSD) as well as to reduce burden and increase transparency under the Medicare Advantage program. APMA also requested a meeting with CMS to discuss these recommendations. Read the letter in full at www.apma.org/commentletters.
