APMA Educational Foundation Names Valentina Clinton 2023–2024 APMA–PICA Full-Tuition Scholar

APMA and the APMA Educational Foundation are pleased to announce Valentina Clinton, Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, Class of 2025, as the winner of the 2023–2024 APMA–PICA full-tuition scholarship. The APMA Education Foundation Scholarship Committee selected Clinton to receive this award based on her academic excellence, community service, professionalism, and vision for the future of podiatry. Congratulations to Clinton on her achievement!

Nominees demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, community service, research involvement, and peer support. All nine of the students listed below are being recognized with scholarships. Congratulations to Tuyet Trinh Ho (Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Class of 2025), first finalist and recipient of a $10,000 scholarship from the APMA Educational Foundation, and Connor Thunshelle (California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University, Class of 2025), second runner-up and recipient of $5,000 from the foundation.

APMA would like to thank PICA for its generous support and commitment to podiatric medicine, and for making this award possible for a third year. We look forward to these nine students changing the field of podiatry and the communities around them for the better.
