    The American Podiatric Medical Association is pleased to offer you an opportunity to order our free, award-winning interactive CD/ROM on careers in podiatric medicine. The CD is designed to educate students about the outstanding opportunities a career in podiatric medicine can offer.

    The CD includes multiple text pages that should answer many questions that you may have regarding podiatric medicine. In addition, there is an informative thirteen minute information video included, that highlights a number of current podiatric medical students and residents, several recent graduates and a number of practicing podiatric physicians.

    The Web sites of the eight colleges of podiatric medicine provide you with information including admissions, departments, curriculum, faculty, financial aid, history of the school, and students. In addition, you can link to students and the DPM Mentor Network.

    The APMA and the AACPM have collaborated to provide a list of DPMs across the country who serve as mentors to students. These doctors offer the chance for students to shadow in their office and they often visit high schools and colleges to talk about the outstanding opportunities a career in podiatric medicine can offer.
