The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has opened data submission for the 2025 performance year of the Quality Payment Program (QPP). Data can be submitted and updated until March 31 at 8 p.m. ET.
How to Submit and Review Your 2025 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Data
Follow the steps outlined below to submit data:
Go to the QPP sign in page.
Sign in using your QPP access credentials.
Submit your data for the 2025 performance year or review the data reported on your behalf by a third party. You cannot correct errors with your data after the submission period, so it is important to make sure the data submitted on your behalf is accurate.
Submission resources are available at the QPP Resource Library.
How to Sign in to the QPP Data Submission System
To sign in and submit data, clinicians will need an HCQIS Authorization Roles and Profile (HARP) account and a QPP role. For help enrolling with HARP, please refer to "Step 1. Register for a HARP Account" in the QPP Access User Guide. For help obtaining a QPP role, please refer to "Step 2. Connect to an Organization" in the QPP Access User Guide.
Clinicians who are unsure about their eligibility to participate in MIPS for the 2025 performance year, can check their final eligibility status using the QPP Participation Status Tool. Clinicians and groups that are opt-in eligible will need to make an election to opt-in or voluntarily report before they can submit data. No election is required for clinicians and groups who are eligible to opt in but do not want to participate in MIPS.
Final scores for 2025 MIPS will be released in summer 2026, and payment adjustments will be released approximately 30 days later. APMA encourages members to submit their 2025 MIPS performance period data early during the submission period. Early submission will allow you plenty of time to get assistance from the service center if needed.
Practices requiring assistance should contact the QPP Service Center by email, by phone at 1-866-288-8292, or they can submit a ticket online at CCSQ Support Central.
APMA members with questions about reporting for the 2025 MIPS Performance Year can email MIPS@apma.org for assistance.
