APMA urged CMS to update and improve the feedback reports clinicians receive after each MIPS performance year. Specifically, APMA recommended that the annual reports deliver performance feedback in a clear, interpretable, and actionable format. Physicians are substantially more likely to engage with the data and identify and implement meaningful changes in their clinical decision making that improve quality and cost outcomes when the information is presented in a usable way.
