APMA invites state component leaders to apply for funding through the new Advocacy Impact Grant Program, which builds on and streamlines previous grant programs. Applications for the 2027 grant cycle are due October 1, 2026.
This reimagined program provides state components with direct financial support to help turn their advocacy priorities into action. State components may apply for up to $5,000 for state legal, legislative, regulatory, and other advocacy initiatives that advance the podiatric profession and align with APMA's advocacy priorities. We will also hold additional funds in reserve to address emerging issues and provide supplementary support to grantees.
Recent grant recipients have used their funding to help pass legislation allowing DPMs to supervise physician assistants (Kentucky) and advance the Interstate Podiatric Medical Licensure Compact in their states.
Please encourage your state component leaders to review grant program guidelines and submit their application. For questions about the Advocacy Impact Grant Program or assistance with a state advocacy initiative, contact APMA Advocacy staff at advocacy@apma.org. | SUBMIT APPLICATION >
