Location: Kingwood, Texas
Personal Bio: I am currently serving as Chief Resident in my 3rd and final year of my PMSR/RRA surgical residency at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. My program has an emphasis in trauma and foot and ankle reconstruction with a heavy surgical volume in forefoot, rearfoot/ankle, orthopedic, general, and vascular surgery. I received highly specialized education and training in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of lower extremity disorders, diseases and injuries during my 4 years of medical school at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. During that time I worked as a teachers assistant and tutor in lower and gross anatomy as well as in microbiology. I also interned at a podiatry clinic to further my knowledge and experience. I appreciate the broad spectrum of care in this profession and love that podiatry impacts not just one age, demographic, or even condition but is a very well-rounded and satisfying career. I am looking forward to acquiring a job at the end of June 2021 upon completion of my residency training. I want to work in an environment where I will be a successful and trusted figure and establish roots in my community. I will consistently strive to enhance my skills as a physician, work cohesively and easily with my peers and colleagues, treat my patients with respect and compassion, conduct myself in a professional manner, and be an asset to the podiatric community.
