Personal Bio: Fellowship trained, ABFAS forefoot & rearfoot reconstruction qualified, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, with extensive clinical experience as well as full spectrum podiatric surgical expertise, including advanced limb salvage. Alumni of Des Moines University’s College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery where I graduated in 2018. I completed a rigorous postdoctoral residency at Aultman-Alliance Community Hospital where I spent my last year as Chief Resident. I developed a solid foundation of full spectrum surgical training including reconstructive foot & ankle surgery, trauma, pediatrics and wound care. I am currently completing an ACFAS limb salvage, reconstructive fellowship in Roanoke, VA under Dr. Charles Zelen. I have extensive training and particular expertise in total ankle arthroplasty, muscle and rotational flaps, skin grafting, trauma, circular ring external fixation, revisional surgery, ankle arthroscopy, and am very comfortable managing the multitude of complications inherent to limb salvage. I believe strongly in a patient first, evidence-based medicine approach. I have well rounded research experience. I am looking for a position that will permit me to utilize the full extent of my surgical training and allow me to continue to refine my skills. I am currently seeking employment following completion of my fellowship in July 2022.
