Summary: Solo general podiatrist with a 25-year history of practicing 5 days a week in a single office is looking for an associate to join the practice. Festus/Crystal City, MO, is a growing twin city area with a physician-owned surgery center and an expanding hospital in Mercy - Jefferson. We are 30 minutes south of the greater St. Louis area and 30 minutes north of getting yourself lost in the woods. The median home value is $260,000 making the surrounding area attractive for those who wish for home ownership. Our orthopedic surgeons locally perform very little foot surgery and defer most to podiatry. Rearfoot surgery is a wide open lane here as I am a forefoot surgeon only. Rearfoot and ankle surgery is not a must. The ideal candidate should recognize the value of a positive work/life balance. I am searching for someone who is well-rounded personally and professionally with interests outside of the office. This position is for an associate progressing to practice ownership with multiple options for ownership interest. Your contract will be structured so that you make what I make when you collect what I collect. If you are a good physician, you will be treated and paid like one. This position is open for current final-year residents, those unhappy with an unappealing contract, or someone simply wishing to relocate to the Midwest.
