The Coding Refreshers series explores coding topics that members may need to revisit to refresh their knowledge and coding capabilities.
This webinar series dives into the basics of coding. Similar to APMA’s past webinar series, Coding Basics focuses on the latest basic topics that podiatrists face most frequently in coding today.
This webinar series is dedicated to tackling the latest topics in documentation. Topics include: “Getting Ready: E/M Coding in 2020,” “Documentation: Wounds / Surgical Dressings,” “Documentation: DME,” and “2021 E/M Coding.”
As APMA did with our Back to Basics and Surgical Coding webinar series, APMA’s Coding Committee allowed podiatrists to select the topics most important to them related to coding for the foot and ankle. The topics included “Routine Foot Care and Debridement,” “Paring, Debridement, Excision, Destruction Codes: What’s the Difference?”, and “Compliant Coding and Documentation for Ulcer Debridement.”
To ensure your successful MIPS participation, APMA created the APMA MIPS Webinar Series. Presentations include MIPS generally, as well as deep dives into each of the performance categories and related topics like the APMA Registry and group versus individual reporting.
APMA’s Coding Committee has developed resources for podiatrists and their staff to help understand the basics of coding. Such topics include modifiers, wound care, E/M coding, CCI edits, and more.
APMA’s Coding Committee has developed resources for podiatrists and their staff to help understand essential surgical coding for the foot and ankle. For this series, we have focused on the coding of various surgical procedures by anatomic area that are of primary interest to foot and ankle surgeons.
