Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)

Building relationships with current leaders and like-minded colleagues can play a critical role in fostering future leaders in the profession. However, it can be difficult to know how to build those relationships or where to start in your leadership journey. The APMA Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is a leadership-intensive program designed to support an exclusive group of young physicians with a vested interest in future leadership opportunities. The program will kick off at the Young Physicians’ Institute (YPI) in Chicago this October and conclude with a recognition ceremony at the APMA 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting (The National) in Nashville, TN, in July. Learn more about the program in the March/April edition of Your APMA.

The inaugural group of ELP participants was selected through an application process overseen by the Emerging Leaders Selection Committee. Watch your APMA publications for information about the 2023–24 application cycle!

Congratulations to our 202223 Emerging Leaders!
