The Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS) was founded to promote the collaborative study and development of medical research regarding the treatment of extremity nerve disease. Baja Project for Crippled Children
For over 25 years, on a weekly basis, the all-volunteer staff of the Baja Project for Crippled Children has operated a free clinic out of the Red Cross Hospital in Mexicali, Mexico. Once a month, project members perform surgery on patients with complex congenital and acquired neuromuscular deformities. The team of podiatric surgeons and residents operates on complex deformities such as congenital clubfoot. Additionally, deformities from polio are seen and treated.
