The APMA Educational Foundation is excited to announce the recipients of this year's student scholarships. A total of $437,500 is being awarded to 236 third- and fourth-year students from the ten colleges of podiatric medicine. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all the endowment benefactors who make these scholarship awards possible each year. The APMA Educational Foundation Scholarship Fund is the only national funding resource devoted to students at the colleges of podiatric medicine.

All third- and fourth-year students from the following colleges of podiatric medicine are eligible to apply: Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University; Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine; Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery; Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science; Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine; New York College of Podiatric Medicine; Samuel Merritt University College of Podiatric Medicine; Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine; Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine, and rising third-year students from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Podiatric Medicine.
Candidates for Educational Foundation scholarships are selected by the College Scholarship and Student Loan Committee based on the following criteria:
The 2024–25 scholarship application is now closed. It is important to note that late, incomplete, or applications not meeting the minimum eligibility requirements will not be considered. Funds will be disbursed in early fall. Scholarship checks will be sent directly to your school’s financial aid office.
The application period for the National 2024 Scholarship Video Contest is now closed.
The APMA Educational Foundation provided travel scholarships for the APMA 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting (The National) for eligible student and residents. Contest winners winners were granted a $500 award to be used toward travel expenses at the conclusion of the meeting. Congratulations to the 2024 travel scholarship recipients.
