Gain Hands-on Experience at The National

June 25, 2014

The APMA 2014 Annual Scientific Meeting (The National), July 24–27 in Honolulu, is your premier foot and ankle conference. In addition to an educational program offering 25 CECH from world-renowned speakers, you will have the opportunity to receive hands-on training in advanced surgical and medical techniques.

Attendees will have an chance to earn an additional 3 CECH by attending the Hands-On Ultrasound Workshop on Friday, July 25, from 2:30–5:30 p.m. Instructor Nathan Schwartz, DPM, will lead attendees through the latest techniques in ultrasound diagnostics along with co-instructors Albert Armstrong Jr., DPM, and Benjamin Levin, MD. The fee to attend the seminar is $200, and registration is limited to 25 participants. APMA has designated an unrestricted educational grant from Universal Imaging, Inc., to support this workshop.

The Ankle Arthroscopy Workshop will take place on Saturday, July 26, from 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m. The workshop will not offer additional CECH because it will run concurrent to the regular scientific program. Instructor Patrick Burns, DPM, and co-instructors David A. Yeager, DPM, and Stephen Palmer, DPM, will demonstrate how to perform an ankle arthroscopy on a cadaver. The fee to attend this session is $250, and registration is limited to 20 attendees. APMA has designated an unrestricted educational grant from Smith & Nephew to support this workshop.
