  1. Applicants should be prepared to lead a team of professionals who manage the IPMA, one of the largest state podiatric medical associations, and the Midwest Podiatry Conference, a 13-state regional educational program, one of the premier podiatric medical educational programs in the country.
  2. Applicants must have a knowledge of podiatry and a demonstrated ability to bring people together. They should be well-versed with the legislative process and the changing health-care environment.
  3. Applicants must be able to communicate complex issues to practitioners, educators, and legislators. They must be able to facilitate discussion with members of diverse views and exhibit the highest moral and ethical standards.

IPMA offers a competitive benefit package including medical and life insurance, long-term disability, and a 401(k) plan.
