PPP: Updated Guidance, New Flexibilities

COVID-19 Paycheck Protection Plan illustration

Congress recently passed new flexibilities for recipients receiving funds via the Paycheck Protection Program. These flexibilities included, among other things, extensions of the loan maturity date and the covered period, as well as greater options in spending. Last week, the US Department of Treasury put out updated guidance reflecting these changes. The treasury also provided an updated application for applicants and lenders.
