On July 1, the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor (DOL), and Treasury (and the Office of Personnel Management [OPM] for purposes of federal employee health plans), released the first in a series of rules implementing the No Surprises Act passed in late 2020 to address surprise billing.
