If you received HHS Provider Relief Fund (PRF) monies that exceeded $10,000 in a single PRF payment period, you will need to report via the PRF Reporting Portal. The first deadline to report for these funds (for payments distributed between April 10–June 30 2020, exceeding $10,000) is Thursday, September 30.

Note that HHS has extended this deadline to November 30 as a grace period, and providers who do not report by September 30 will still be considered out of compliance. However, no collection activities or similar enforcement actions will be initiated during this 60-day grace period. Providers who are able to complete their report by September 30 are strongly encouraged to do so.

APMA created a webinar with its consulting partner, Hart Health Strategies, to navigate reporting, as well as a detailed summary for members to review. Given the accounting PRF reporting requires, we strongly recommend all providers who are required to report work with their practice accountant or financial advisor to ensure that everything is correctly filled out and completed.

Members can view all PRF resources at www.apma.org/ProviderRelief. For questions, contact the APMA Health Policy Practice department at healthpolicy.hpp@apma.org.
