APMA is the only organization lobbying for podiatrists and their patients on Capitol Hill. As the voice of podiatric medicine to your legislators and regulators, APMA is active on a variety of critical issues affecting podiatry and the entire health-care system.
We’re immensely grateful for the dozens of generous donors who gave to the APMA Educational Foundation on Giving Tuesday. If you haven’t contributed yet, you can still make your investment in the future of podiatry and give today! Deckers X Lab will continue to donate one pair of shoes for each gift made through December 31!
The foundation was able to award a total of $330,000 in scholarships to 160 deserving third- and fourth-year students for the 2021–22 academic year. We also gave $31,500 in enhanced funding to students whose applications stood out the most. Recipients included students like Tiffany Tran ’23, the APMA-PICA full tuition scholar. These funds go a long way toward alleviating the stress of student debt for the next generation of podiatrists. With your help, we can provide even more relief next year. These students are the future leaders of the profession.
