APMA has the resources you need to help you through every step of your career. With detailed information about MIPS and recent coding trends along with compliance guidelines and practice marketing materials, APMA has you covered whether you are just getting started in practice, preparing for retirement, or anywhere in between.
Today's podiatrist has the necessary education and training to treat all conditions of the foot and ankle and plays a key role in keeping America healthy and mobile while helping combat diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Your feet are excellent barometers for your overall health. Healthy feet keep you moving and active. They are quite literally your foundation. In this section, learn more about APMA Seal-approved and accepted products, proper foot care, common foot and ankle conditions, and how your podiatrist can help keep you and your feet healthy.
APMA is the only organization lobbying for podiatrists and their patients on Capitol Hill. As the voice of podiatric medicine to your legislators and regulators, APMA is active on a variety of critical issues affecting podiatry and the entire health-care system.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the American College of Podiatric Medicine (ACPM), we would like to re-introduce you to our organization. ACPM is comprised of over 1,600 podiatric physicians, students, and residents. In 2020, we re-branded the organization from the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics (ACFAOM) to the American College of Podiatric Medicine (ACPM).
As we are the educational arm of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM), we are excited to offer an array of learning opportunities to our resident members. The best part of all of this is that resident membership with ACPM is free! Sign up as a resident member now at https://my.acpmed.org/join.
We offer an array of educational opportunities to our members including our e-Learning POD online education series, monthly interactive lectures known as our Expert Lecture Series, and virtual conferences with world-renowned speakers/researchers in the field of biomechanics and podiatric medicine.
Our next virtual conference is on Saturday, April 2, “Diabetes & Wounds: Practical Pearls” from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. ET, and those who join can earn 6 CECH.
We also offer a significant resident discount on our Third Edition Review Text in Podiatric Orthopedics and Medicine, which is a great resource for preparation for board certification.
Our mission is to enhance and advocate for the practice of podiatric medicine by providing innovative education and promoting podiatric physicians in public health and welfare. With the average DPM spending less than 20 percent of their time in surgery, it is important that these non-surgical areas remain the cornerstone of contemporary podiatric practice. You are the future of our profession, and we encourage you to take advantage of what ACPM has to offer.
We are proud of the programs we offer, and this is just the start of where we foresee resident benefits going. For example, we will be providing hands-on workshops for various clinical techniques and pearls, access to our Foot and Ankle Weekly Newsletter, ACPM’s Weekly Buzz, and ACPM’s Quarterly Newsletter.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions or need more information.
