DME Stakeholders Meeting

APMA hosted its annual DME Stakeholders Meeting virtually on June 1. The meeting brought together representatives from APMA and several esteemed organizations, including:

  • American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS)
  • American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS)
  • American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS)
  • American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
  • Pedorthic Footcare Association (PFA)
  • American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA)
  • American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
  • American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT)

At the meeting, stakeholders addressed several significant topics concerning DME regulatory priorities. The meeting commenced with discussions on the "Same or Similar Update," the transition to NPE East/NPE West, along with competitive bidding and legislative updates.
