In keeping with the spirit of APMA’s continued Year of the Member focus, this year at The National we’re excited to offer meeting enhancements designed to make the on-site experience even more meaningful.
APMA Member Loungeand Social Center: Located across from meeting registration, this designated space features comfortable seating for conference attendees, leadership, and APMA staff to network and engage outside of the exhibit hall hours. The lounge also includes the APMA Social Center, where meeting attendees can showcase their attendance at The National by taking social media-ready photos against the APMA backdrop, complete with props, lighting, and cell phone stands to help create memorable photos.
APMA Member Pins: Your APMA Membership Committee spoke, and we listened! Comprised of members just like you, many of whom are here on-site in Nashville, the committee felt strongly that APMA members should have a way to tout their membership, and we’re proud to deliver. Members who have renewed for the 2023−24 membership year can pick up their APMA member pin in the APMA booth in the exhibit hall. Not to detract from our 25 and 50-year pins, these pins are intended for members who joined today, last week, or 10 years ago!
While you’re at the APMA booth in the exhibit hall, be sure to also collect your limited edition APMA 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting pin.
APMA Meeting Ambassadors: Meeting Ambassadors are a new addition to the on-site experience at The National and include a few familiar faces! The role of Meeting Ambassadors is to greet attendees and be accessible to help answer questions about the program, the meeting, and all things APMA. If you would like to serve as an ambassador at next year’s meeting, stop by the APMA Booth or Member Lounge to learn more.
Member Recognition Slides: Be sure to check out the list of first-time meeting attendees, APMA life members, student members, recent residency graduates, and other special groups attending the meeting, included in the slides scrolling in meeting rooms between sessions.
Whether you are a meeting attendee, lecturer, exhibitor, or industry partner, YOU are the reason hundreds of podiatrists show up year after year to attend The National. We are excited to celebrate you and most of all, we’re glad you’re part of our empowered community.
