APMA is pleased to announce Joseph Coppola, DPM, of Medford, MA, is this year’s Center for Professional Advocacy Young Physician Advocate Scholarship recipient, to attend the 2023 State Advocacy Forum August 25–26, in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Coppola earned this award due to his passion and dedication to advocating on behalf of his profession.
The State Advocacy Forum will give Dr. Coppola and other attendees an opportunity to learn, network, and discuss the most pressing issues in state legislation.
The State Advocacy Forum is a cost-sharing program between APMA and its state components. APMA is responsible for the cost of the Friday night (August 25) hotel room for up to two state component representatives. State components are responsible for travel costs. The New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association was chosen to host the upcoming meeting because of its exemplary accomplishments in advocacy, tireless grassroots efforts, and stakeholder relationship-building.
