The biennial APMA State Advocacy Forum will be held later this week, August 25–26, in Albuquerque, NM. This event brings together component leaders from across the country for two days of learning and collaboration.
This year’s program will focus on member engagement and maximizing impact with available resources. It will also highlight the work of the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association (NMPMA). The NMPMA was chosen as host of this year’s forum because of its history of wins and strong collaborative relationships with other local medical associations and board.
A key aspect of every forum is the opportunity for leaders to share ideas and strategies with each other. Networking and dissecting common challenges will once again play a pivotal role in this year’s event.
More information about the State Advocacy Forum is available online. Read more about outcomes from the event in upcoming APMA publications and expect to hear directly from your component after the event.
