Updated April 1, 2024
APMA has created a new resource page to assist members who have been impacted by the ransomware cyberattack on Change Healthcare, which took place on February 21. Members can find up-to-date information on steps CMS has taken to mitigate the burdens impacted providers are facing, as well as financial assistance options.
CMS also published and released a new compilation of information, resources, and tools from health plans and payers for providers in need of assistance on March 25, 2024, which members can find posted in the Additional References and Information section.
With regard to the financial assistance opportunities, APMA stresses that it is ultimately a practice’s responsibility to review all acceptance and repayment conditions, and review and understand all terms and details related to the financial loans a practice may undertake.
Please contact the APMA Health Policy and Practice department with any questions or concerns.
