April 1, 2024

stopwatch, the time is now

If you haven’t started your 2024 MIPS yet, you should be looking into it very soon. A good place to begin would be to see if the MIPS White Glove Service is a good fit for you. Learn more at https://www.mymipsscore.com/apma-members.

Although the APMA MIPS App/Registry is now closed for 2023 performance year submissions, MIPS-eligible providers from small practices who are not eligible for the EUC Exception can still submit some of their MIPS measures directly to the CMS QPP portal through the new extended deadline of April 15, 8 p.m. EDT.

CMS has reopened the 2023 MIPS Extreme and Uncontrollable Circumstances (EUC) Exception Application (also through April 15) to provide relief to MIPS-eligible clinicians impacted by the Change Healthcare cyberattackCMS will only approve applications citing this cyberattack as the basis for requesting reweighting under the MIPS EUC Exception. Also, any data submitted to CMS will override your application for those performance categories.

If you have any MIPS questions or would like to obtain a free MIPS submission guide, email mips@apma.org.
