Training the Next Generation of Podiatrists
Due to the success of last year’s virtual Young Physicians’ Institute (YPI), this year’s YPI programming will include three events: a half-day virtual event being held this spring; the classic, in-person leadership and networking event taking place in the fall; and another half-day virtual event in the winter. Each event will be completely free for all APMA young physician members to attend.
This free half-day virtual program is being held Saturday, June 12, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. EDT, and will cover details you need to know to get started post-residency including hospital privileging and credentialing, billing and coding basics, tips for starting practice, and more. The full program is now available. APMA student and young physician members are welcome to join us for one lecture or the full program and gain expert insight from your peers.
Thank you to our program sponsor:
This renowned leadership training and networking event will once again be held in-person, October 1–2, at the Hotel Chicago Downtown. The event will kick off Friday evening with a networking reception for attendees, with programming offered all day Saturday; the event will wrap up Saturday night with a group dinner for attendees. Programming topics include how to advocate, how to join your state board, DEI topics, and more. If you have any questions, contact APMA Career Development Manager Tiffany Kildale.
Component-sponsored registration for the Young Physicians' Institute will open June 1. APMA will help to support one young physician from each component by matching expenses, up to $500. Registration for this event is free. Reach out to your component today. General registration will open on July 1.
Coming Winter 2021/2022.
