Do you want data that can help you negotiate a higher salary in your next job or benchmark your own performance? APMA is delighted to continue its yearly partnership with MGMA, offering valuable data to our members. MGMA is well-known in the health-care industry and employs sophisticated data-capture methods to generate a diverse range of benchmarking data, including expenses, physician, and staff compensation. Recognizing the demand for additional and more precise data, and that multiple surveys with manual data entry were quite onerous for past survey participants, MGMA has dedicated the past 15 months to revamping the data collection tool for survey participation, aiming to fulfill this need and overcome associated constraints.
With this new process, MGMA eliminated the need for templates and manual data entry. Members can find the resources to support the new data collection process at https://mgma.com/participate. The portal is now open and will be available through February 23, 2024. Your submitted raw data will feed the following data collection surveys:
The new process can be boiled down to four user-guided steps:
MGMA is also offering one-on-one assistance to help you submit your data if you encounter issues or need general assistance, and are available to speak with now.
This data is instrumental in measuring and improving the performance of medical group practices nationwide. Access to this data not only enhances your ability to market yourself but also enables you to make informed decisions and recommendations to improve your practice's overall performance. By participating in this survey, you will receive access to the survey results for free.
